Chilaquiles are super good, and with their thick cut tortilla chips, they get less soggy and are super tasty. The chimichanga with birria is super good, too! All of the staff are super nice and helpful.
hola everyone! if you’re looking for GREAT Mexican food by the airport. This is THE spot! There is a limited dine in seating available, but they do have benches outside which I recommend especially when the weather is beautiful. I ordered fries and substituted the meat with their al pastor, VERY GOOD Looking forward to my next visit
Love the outdoor seating! Also indoor seating. They sell big bags of their own yummy chips. Good orchata too.
Update, from 3-5 stars! My original review is below. Maybe I was having an off day? Came for chilaquiles and tacos rojos today and both were excellent! If you ask real nice they might make your chilaqueles with over easy eggs instead of scrambled. The tacos rojos came with a dipping sauce like an aujus. Soooo good. Strange out-of-the-way location but it definitely has an authentic vibe. "A Mexican restaurant on Chevy way, it has to be great!" I’m not sure I ordered the right things? They had a special, five street tacos for five dollars so I went with that and I also got their french fries and substituted Al Pastore meat with everything on it. They have a little salsa bar so you can self serve. I didn’t think any of the sauces were very good, the hot was not hot at all and there were no fresh options like fresh jalapenos or onions. If I come back I will probably get a burrito of some type. I was hoping the flavors would pop more, I was hoping for some spice, I got neither. The workers were nice. Very blue-collar place to eat, lots of construction workers etc. usually that’s a good sign. My advice is to study the menu and know clearly what you’re going to get before you come. There is limited outside seating available. Half the customers were masked, half not.
I believe the gentlemans name who served me is Leasandro. Dude is super chill. Also very funny. Made me laugh and was in great spirits when I came in to get food. I was recommended here for their candy. They were sold out but I got food and man did I make a good choice. Enchiladas were and he also gave me a free sugar cookie since they were sold out of the candy for the day. Great guy and great food and will be returning soon.
Great street-style tacos only 1.75 and sometimes only 1.00. Best I've had since leaving California's Central Valley. Also great burritos, chile based salsas, and good chips. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick, inexpensive, and highly appetizing meal. Excellent breakfast, too!
Friendly atmosphere and a good meal and portions are good. A little more bland than Id like it but thats usually the case up here. The salsas where good too and refills available tor drinks and salsas. There is a little picnic area outside as well, clean place and FAST service!
